Our Story

Woodpark Montessori was established in 1990 by Priyanthi and Nimal Sundaram. Priyanthi did her Montessori training through AMI in Sri Lanka and began teaching in 1979. She decided to open her school in April of 1990.

Starting with just three students, they quickly grew. In June of 2005, they acquired a building that would accommodate their fast growing Woodpark family.

In Sept 2016, they acquired their second location in Savage. Miss Misty continues to direct the Burnsville location. We are so excited to watch our Woodpark family grow even more!
